The de Ferrers Academy is a part of Affinity Learning Partnership. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.

Following on from 10 years as a specialist Technology College, de Ferrers became an Academy in January 2011. It has grown into a large, split-site, co-educational institution catering for the full range of students from ages 11-18. In 2015 de Ferrers became the first school of Affinity Learning Partnership (a Multi Academy Trust).

Our vision is to ensure that all the children and young people in our care have the opportunity to fulfil their potential through achieving highly, regardless of their ability or background.

The Candidate

Join our team as a Student Wellbeing Advisor and play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of students and staff at our Academy. Working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will deliver a responsive and effective medical support service while championing health promotion and education across the school community.

In this rewarding role, you’ll provide health advice, emergency medical assistance, and first aid, ensuring the best course of action is taken for any sickness or injury. You'll also collaborate with the safeguarding team to address health-related issues and create a positive, healthy environment for everyone at the Academy.

We’re looking for a dedicated individual with an NVQ Level 2 in a relevant field (or equivalent qualification) and a First Aid certification. Experience in the healthcare sector is highly desirable and will set you up for success in this impactful position.
