Horninglow Primary is a part of Affinity Learning Partnership. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.

The Candidate

Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early learning journey? We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and nurturing team!

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant who can:

  • Support learning and development in the Early Years setting.
  • Provide high-quality care and education, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Cover PPA time weekly and leadership time bi-weekly for the class teacher.
  • Work closely with the teacher and other staff to create engaging learning experiences.
  • Promote the social and emotional well-being of all children.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting.
  •  A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification Level 3 preferred.
  • A nurturing and patient approach, with a passion for child development.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to work independently when covering lessons.
