I was born and raised in Staffordshire and began working in hospitality at age 16 where I developed a variety of skills. After obtaining my A-Levels in 2019, I decided to attend University in Aberystwyth where I studied Law with Criminology. Upon graduating in 2022, I began working in Birmingham as a Legal Assistant where I developed organisational, interpersonal and critical thinking skills. This role also provided me with a deeper understanding of legal terminology and legal documentation. After considering various career options, I decided to pursue a career in HR, and enrolled myself on the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management. 

I joined the Trust People Team in October 2023, where I will be able to apply my skills, obtain practical experience alongside my studies and gain an abundance of knowledge of the education sector and how HR is operationally managed across several academies. I’m glad I made the decision to take this next step in my career and get work with a great team of professionals who are passionate about providing the best education for the children in our care.
