I was born and raised in the Black Country.  I studied at Coventry University where I obtained my degree in Economics. After university, I commenced my ACCA chartered accountancy exams. This led me to working at Sandwell MBC as its Senior Accountant for Children Services. I found this role extremely fulfilling as I was making an impact in supporting front line services for the young people of Sandwell. I then moved to work for a special educational needs Trust as their Financial Controller. In 2019, I decided to take up the opportunity with The de Ferrers Trust to join the newly formed Trust Finance Team as a Trust Finance Manager. In December 2022, I was promoted to Head of Finance. 

As the Head of Finance, it is truly rewarding to see first-hand the impact my team has on supporting key stakeholders in our schools.  I am proud to support the Trust as a whole and continue to be dynamic whilst promoting an encouraging environment for everyone to succeed.
